If you already have a DSL connection but are frustrated by the speed and reliability of your connection, bonded DSL may be the solution you are looking for.
The i-MO multichannel router is ideal for providing a small branch office, home office, or temporary locations, with a high performance, resilient connection to the Internet or corporate LAN.
Bonds multiple connections
i-MO allows you to combine or bond up to 4 DSL lines for unrivalled speed and uptime. You can also further add to the resilience by enabling failover to a 4G connection.
Bonds intelligently:
The i-MO bonding algorithm automatically distributes traffic across available connections and manages these to achieve optimal performance. Also offered is the facility for automatic failover between primary (e.g. DSL) and secondary (e.g. wireless) connections.
As standard the appliance is equipped with 6 Ethernet Gigabit Ports of which 4 can be configured as WAN, to which external ADSL / FTTC broadband routers can be connected.
Increased Bandwidth & Resilience
Enhanced download and upload speeds. Service continues even if one DSL connection is lost.
Reduced Costs
Bonded DSL provides improved performance at a fraction of the cost of leased line services.
Resilience & Failover
Inherently resilient with option of automatic failover to 3G / 4G.
Quick to provision
i-MO Router devices can typically be supplied within 3-4 working days.

Q: What bandwidth should I expect from my bonded connection?
A: The service aggregates the actual speed of the two lines connected less a small overhead. The speeds of the available connections may not be as advertised and may vary overtime as a result of eg contention.
Q: What type of Broadband connections can the service aggregate?
A: The service is intended to enable the bonding of up to two DSL connections with the option of adding a 4G connection. For the bonding of Fibre connections (FTTC etc) we would recommend the Etherstream V service.
Q: What happens if one of the available connections fails?
A: The service will continue to operate if at least one connection remains "up". Bandwidth will inevitably be reduced until such times as other connections are restored.
Q: What about failover?
A: The i-MO router can be configured to allow automatic and seamless failover from DSL services to 4G (where available) in the event that the DSL connection(s) is / are lost.
Q: What’s the minimum contract term?
A: The minimum term is three months and multiples thereof. Any requirement to cancel must be notified to us not less than 30 days before the end of a given three month period. A 10% discount from monthly usage charges is available for a 12 month contract billed in full in advance.
Q: What support is available?
A: Customers can access Support during UK working hours by e-mailing: imosupport@ems-uk.com or by calling 01428 752025.
Q: What are the leadtimes for service delivery?
A: i-MO Router Appliances can typically be shipped within 3 - 4 working days of receipt of order / payment. Assuming that lines / DSL services are in place you should be able to accomplish the setup in minutes.
Q: Can I connect to the i-MO Appliance wirelessly?
A: Yes - the i-MO Appliance supports Wi-Fi.
