The i-MO 250 series WAN load-balancing and bonding router is ideal for quickly providing offices, factories, warehouses, events & exhibitions with a highly resilient, high speed connection to the Internet.

With one internal 5G compatible cellular modem and up to five WAN Ports available, the appliance can be configured for failover, load-balancing or bonding to increase reliability and available bandwidth. The i-MO 250 with our unique OptiBond software is ideally suited to providing high speed Broadband for larger numbers of users in diverse environments.

The Administrative Web/CLI Interface easily allows the appliance to be configured for link-failover (e.g. from WAN to cellular) in addition to link aggregation and managed load balancing to increase performance.

The appliance is powered from a single 12V power supply. This can either be provided by the included external AC adapter (100–240V, 50-60Hz) or alternatively it can be powered from a standard 12V DC supply. PoE is also supported.

Bonds multiple connections:

The i-MO 250 is supplied in an aluminium case with fan cooling and has superior heat dissipation , EMC & dust resistance characteristics.

Bonds intelligently:

The OptiBond bonding algorithm automatically distributes traffic across available connections and manages these to achieve optimal performance, equalisation of data consumption. Also offered is the facility for automatic failover between primary (e.g. DSL) and secondary (e.g. wireless) connections.

Bonds as you like it:

OptiBond uses an end-to-end tunnelling protocol to aggregate bandwidth. Assembling and managing data across multiple bearers requires a suitable Appliance at either end of the link. With i-MO you have the option of using our proven vendor delivered Managed Service (no equipment required other than at the site where connectivity is required) or, alternatively, deploy our Virtual Concentrator in a maintained environment (e.g. your Data Centre) and deliver your own bonding services. All i-MO Appliances can also support simple load balancing across available connections where low cost and simplicity is a priority. Load balanced setups do not require a second endpoint appliance.

5G compatibility built in:

As standard one 5G cellular modem is embedded in the i-MO 250 Series Bonded Router. This supports cellular mobile data networks which comply with 5G, 4G+ / LTE-A, 4G / LTE, HSUPA, HSDPA, 3G.
